Using Questions and Answers to Grow Online Persona

Joseph Ferrara created this nice post about using Q & A from TruliaVoices and Zillow Home Q&A as part of a comprehensive online marketing plan. In addition to Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and other social networking sites, the Q & A is a great way to build your online persona, which gives credibility to you. As the recent Yahoo research suggests, buyers are using the web to establish trust with their real estate agent.  Q & A establishes a nuanced understanding of the agent’s expertise (provided that the answers are good).

One cautionary note, online persona is the new PR, so be very careful where you let yourself be seen. If you want an example of bad PR, watch this video (and get a free laugh).
