Collection of Useful Sites When Searching For Real Estate in Knoxville TN
The Boston Globe shared this list of helpful sites that are changing the industry:
As it has done to other businesses, the Internet is changing the real estate industry. A 2007 survey by the National Association of Realtors found 84 percent of buyers now use the Web to search for homes - the same share that use a real estate agent.
As a shortcut, here are some of their top picks:
- Trulia.com offers “heat maps,”
- Yahoo.com
- Google.com
- Craigslist.com
- ForSalebyOwner.com
- Google Maps (maps.google.com)
- IdealRoute.com
- GreatSchools.net
- Walkscore.com
- Domania.com
- Zillow.com
There were a few links that I expected to find, and I wish they linked directly to the offered service instead of the homepage. Overall though, this is a good collection of RE2.0 sites.

Another great website is http://www.infotube.net. The company manufactures the InfoTube and InfoBox brochure holders that are sold at major retailers. They operate a free website for home listings, offer free legal forms, sales tips and advice. They also upload their home listings to major search engines for free.
